• U.S. Military Active Duty Member

  A military member who is on active duty with a permanent change of station (PCS) or is on temporary duty (TDY) in Colorado on the first day of class for the applicable term is eligible for in-state tuition.

  Once qualified as a resident student, the member does not lose eligibility if the member retires or separates from the military, nor does the member lose resident status by reason of presence in any state or country while a member of the armed forces.

  Active Duty personnel is:

  • if PCS, 符合资格申请 College Opportunity Fund (separate application required),
  • if TDY, not 符合资格申请 College Opportunity Fund,
  • not eligible for resident financial aid
• U.S. Military Active Duty Dependent

  A 依赖 of an active-duty military member currently stationed in Colorado 必须:

  • be a 依赖 of an active-duty military member currently stationed (PCS) in Colorado,
  • be a 依赖 at the time the member is stationed in Colorado, 和
  • if a child 依赖, be biological or legally adopted.

  A 依赖 of a current or former military member not stationed in Colorado 必须:

  • enroll in a Colorado institution of higher education within 12 years after the member was active duty 和 stationed (PCS) any length of time in Colorado,
  • if a child 依赖, be biological or legally adopted, 和
  • if a spouse, have been married to the military member at the time the member was stationed in Colorado 和 at the time the spouse is requesting resident tuition classification.

  The military 依赖 is:

  • 符合资格申请 College Opportunity Fund (separate application required), 和
  • not eligible for resident financial aid.
• Colorado National Guard

  Colorado National Guard Members
  Members of the Colorado National Guard (和 their 依赖s) qualify for resident tuition if the Guard member maintains his or her sole residence in Colorado.

  The Guard member must have been a member of the Colorado National Guard by the first day of class for the applicable academic term.

  Colorado National Guard status must be verified each term by the military installation 使用 National Guard Waiver.

  The Guard member 和/or 依赖 is:

  • 符合资格申请 College Opportunity Fund (separate application required), 和
  • not eligible for resident financial aid.
• Canadian Military Active Duty

  Active Duty member 必须:

  • be stationed in Colorado with permanent change of station (PCS) orders, 和
  • have physical residence in Colorado.

  未成年的小孩 和 配偶 必须:

  • have physical residence in Colorado, 和
  • provide evidence that they are the military member's spouse or their biological or legally adopted child.
